slow week

Today it is snowing after I had wondered last week if spring would ever get here.  The weatherman says we could get 8-10". Ugh.  I've been jumping around from project to project- I think because of the cabin fever.  This week I did not get a lot done miniature wise.  I did some spring cleaning on the life size house instead.  I did make a couple of little dresses for the wardrobe in the Candy House.  I know they are flat and not very realistic- but the doll that lives here is flat so it's fitting, right? :)
A couple of miniature friends gifted me with a bulletin board and some pillows which I have finally added to the Candy House.  They were made by Dale from Dale's Dreams and they are adorable.  I added some postcards, pictures and a letter to the bulletin board.  The matching pillows are on the bed.

I started this little 1/4 scale house that has been sitting on my desk for forever.  I've never worked in this small of a scale so decorating the inside might be a challenge :)

Then I switched course and spent a day painting some pictures in my little wallpaper journal.

That's all I have to show for this week- except a new picture of Miko the pomeranian.  He thought he had been away from the blog for too long :)  Have a good week my friends!

Hi Kim, This doesn't look like a slow week to me at all! Those dresses you made are darling! I didn't know you painted too--you're so talented. Beautiful gifts, and they look great in the candy house. Take care. xo Jennifer

Hi Jennifer! Do you ever feel like you are always doing a little bit of something but don't have much to show for it? That is how I felt this week :) Thank you for your sweet comment- the little dresses were so fun to make- kind of makes me want to try something more realistic. Hope you have a wonderful week ♥

Your Mike is so sweet, so soft and beautiful in the coat. I go in dogs thoughts. But it is also a lot of work, both to raise and care for it. One day ....
Impressive that you can work in 1/4 scala. Fine dress and lovely with a good message board.
Beautiful pictures you have drawn your way to draw on, would fit well in a children / young people book.

Hi Kim! I love your paintings. It's always such a treat when you show them. The little dresses are so cute and they really suit the little doll who lives in the house. Give Miko a hug for me. He's so sweet! I know I forgot something but I can't remember.

Hi Lucille :) Do I remember correct you are from Canada? Is it still snowy where you live? I had such fun with those little dresses- I could have made them all week long they were so fun :) Miko says thank you and sends wet kisses ♥

Joy- thank you! My little dresses are not as involved as the clothes on your wonderful dolls, but I could see myself wanting to learn to make better clothes- it was such fun for me :) Miko sends you kisses too :)

Rosethe- thank you so much! 5 dogs!!! My goodness- you must get wet puppy kisses all day long! They do become like children to us, right? hugs to you ♥

Yes, Kim, I'm from Canada. The snow banks on my street are over six feet tall. Winter is still with us. But, I don't mind as I love winter.

oh Lucille- could you teach me how to love it? :) It is pretty as it is snowing today- I have to admit :)
