The sunroom and some journal pages

I am still in a bit of a funk and not feeling like doing much else besides cleaning.  Why is it that any time I can't seem to find my muse and create I turn to cleaning the house?  I wish it were spring or summer- I could at least pull weeds then :)  Anyhow- on Sunday I sat down and I actually worked on the miniature sunroom roombox for a bit.  I have two gorgeous plant hangers that I bought on etsy from Inges Minis and I decided to make a couple of plants for  them.  The spider plant could probably be a bit fuller- but my patience for working with those tiny wired leaves was at an end.

I also made three little tin cans and put a small plant in each on the windowsill- the lady of the house has just started these and will transplant them after they grow just a bit more :)
Here's another shot looking down into the room- I think I am almost finished with this project!  I think I'll add 2 more hanging plants and then it's done!  It's hard to take pictures of the room because of the glass- so sorry there are not more close ups of the details.
I've also been working a bit more in my Book of Days journal- although I am not doing well in keeping up with the group or the book.  I have decided to add what I can at my own pace on this book- I've got to catch up on the Lifebook course so this book has been taking the back burner.  Here's a couple of the pages:

Sorry about the picture quality on the book pages- it's a bit gray and dreary in Minnesota today :)  I'm off to take a walk soon- I have decided that I am going to try to get more fresh air and see if I can chase these blahs away.  Hope your day is awesome!!!

Kim, I love the sun room! It's fantastic. I'm sorry you're still feeling the blahs. I'm sending love and hugs. Hope you can feel them. As far as BOD goes, I've pretty much gone my own way with my book. I just don't have the time to do it all. So, mine has become more of a Book of Whenever I Feel Like It. :) I'd rather keep up with LifeBook, since that one is a paid course. Hope you see some sun today! Cia

The sunroom is so pretty, Kim! I love those little cans you made. It's realistic. People so often do this to start plants. As for your art, I have always been fascinated with whatever you come up with. I just love your people, their faces and hair!

Cia- thank you! I think BOD will probably be Book of When I can for me too. I just can't keep up with everything else I do and I want to move forward in Lifebook too. Your work has been so gorgeous!

April- thank you! The plant hangers are even more incredible in person- worth every penny because I would never have the patience to create them. I almost hated putting plants in the pots the hangers were so pretty!

Lucille- I am so glad to see you- you are one of my favorite readers ♥ Thank you for your sweet words- you are always so nice to me :)

Ascension- thank you!!!abrazos para ti mi amigo maravilloso!

Kathy and Eva- thank you!!!!

Claudia- thank you :) I am wondering how you are doing with your dollhouse? I bet you are anxious for spring this year too-green buds and flowers are on their way :) hugs to you ♥

Hi Kim! Not sure what you mean by not feeling creative and then you post all those pictures of your awesome projects!!! There is a nice story behind my project. The young gentleman contacted me about my art prize sculpture saying he and his father had seen it and it reminded them so much of his mother who had died not that long ago. She was really into gardening and nature and was very much an earthy free spirit. One thing led to another and I am doing a smaller sculpture for him to give to his father. Her favorite flowers were lilies and sunflowers so I have her walking through a field of flowers with their favorite dog. He told me so much about her that even before I saw the pictures I had a picture of her i my mind- talk about a muse! I want this to be very special for them. I'm hard at it! Take care and I will check back on you to see how the sun room is coming!

I have it always the other side around, when i have to go cleaning i always found myself making mini's. Your journal pages are very nice too, specially the first one is gorgious, i feel exactly the same as you wrote on your last journal page.I started with art journalling too and i love it!
sometimes i journal every day and sometimes i do nothing for weeks.I should show some pages on my blog too.
p.s. It is almost spring.

Loving the sunroom! I actually saved the measurements in my notes, hoping to actually get to make one of my own, some day! :)

Kim, sounds to me like you need to 'find your muse'. Not always sure what that means but Lisa Wright is doing some online classes towards that goal. They sound pretty interesting and I'm going to look into them a little more. I might post about them on the ole blog. Anyhow, I love to hear from you and I love your work! Chris

Well, it's been too long since your visit to my site, and I did not tell you how much I appreciated it, or how much I loved your ATC! Thank you so much. YOU get a lot done, and I love the dollhouse idea. I've wanted to make one for a long time!

Nice work.
