Garden Pictures

We have had sooo much rain lately-it's nice weather for pulling weeds. I didn't think I would have much of a garden this year because I had let the weeds take over so much last year- but I think all my hard work is starting to pay off. I lost a couple of plants to either weeds or the winter- but that happens some years. Here are some pictures of the garden I took yesterday. I wish I didn't have to work and I could just spend every single summer day out here- I love it so much.

Your yard and garden is huge! I know what you mean about staying out to work in it. I'm still cleaning up things that didn't get done this spring while I was still in school. There's never enough time and the weather was odd-cold and windy most of the time. Enjoy your time in the garden. ♥♫

Oh my gosh Kim, I planted that same clematis when I bought my house (after lots of puppy digs), it has finally bloomed this year. It's so lovely. Everything looks amazing :)

Oh Kim, I love your garden so much! It's really perkin' up! What is your circular pathway made of? Is it decomposed granite? I'm looking for ideas...

Hugs,
Jill

Great pictures! Your garden is looking really good this year.
You should have married a rich man so that you could stay home and work on your garden. (or hire a handsome gardener!)
Have I already told you that??? :P

We've had tons of rain too. I've flippin had IT!!!! We're expecting more tomorrow. Yuck!!

You think if I look at your garden enough times, I will get my butt off and work on mine?

That flower is plain amazing! If you just have that one flower, it would have been worth all the effort.

Love your garden, Kim.

Your garden=GORGEOUS!
I used to have Clematis exactly like the first picture. That's what it is right? The flower wasn't so big though. Maybe it's too hot here in Texas. You have a very romantic garden. Enjoy!

Caroline

Marilyn- thank you for visiting! I'm sorry I have not been by to visit you- it's a crazy summer this year. I hope you enjoy your time in the garden too ♥

Christine- thank you! That is such a great compliment- a peaceful oasis :)

April- my clematis took about 4 years to really get going- I'm so glad I didn't rip them out! I hope your home reno is going well :)

Jill- my circular path is actually concrete. I used to have gravel but I spent as much time weeding the path as I did the garden, so I had my hubby put concrete down and I love it so much- I can just sweep it at the end of the day :) Thank you for your sweet words ♥

Laura- Maybe I'll marry for money the next time around :) (just kidding- I need someone to tell me I'm beautiful and love me more than I need money ) Hope your summer is going good!!

Sans- thank you! I imagine that it is a lot more humid in your country and your garden than it is in mine! I have to say that I do believe I am happiest working in the garden though- as you can see...my minis have taken a back seat :)

Caterina- thank you!!! You are so sweet- kisses back to you!

Caroline- thank you!!! It is clematis. It has taken quite awhile to really start to grow and bloom- and I've found that it likes to be very moist at the roots- I water it a bit every day.

Minnie Kitchen- LOL!!!!!! Thank you :)

Ascension- thank you! You are welcome to come and visit or camp in my garden any time my sweet friend!

Mandy, Victoria, Kathy, Paky, Mijbl- thank you so much! ♥
