Sunroom Progress

Well, I have made some slow progress on the sunroom. I really have the itch to work on this project, but I have a wedding present and 2 swaps to finish so I only allowed myself a couple of hours last weekend for this. Remember where we started with 4 picture frames glued together with a floor?

Here is where I am at now. I am adding half walls to each side and separating the windows a bit with posts. I still have a long way to go- I need to add the walls on the inside still- and I want to have a weathered gray type of finish on the outside but I have no idea how to do this, so lots of paint experimenting is coming up in the future.

I decided the back wall will be brick and the floor will be navy tile- this should look really nice with the cushions on the chair Casey made for me. What do you think so far?

I love it! It looks amazing!
Girl, you've got more talent and imagination in your little finger than I have in my whole body!

O yes! I like it very much :)! You are right, the combo will be the right one for Casey's chair. Will you be aging the brick wall? You know me, I like em old, broken, rusty and distressed :):). But that's just me :). My mum will hate to live in my mini house :).

Laura- thanks girl! You know you have talent miss Baking :) Hugs back!

Sans- Thank you! I really wanted to do a colorful crazy tile, but it just did not fit the mood- so I went with this dark blue and it seemed perfect. I am going to try to age the brick wall and the wood of the sunroom-- we'll see how I do because I am not good at aging....yet :) I want a very "lived in and loved" type of look for this project :)

tbnjas- thank you!

Patricia- YOU rock doll momma! Gluing together some picture frames does not even touch being able to make a doll dance on film- but oh how I love when you give me compliments!! I hope you are enjoying sunshine and flowers this week!!!!!

Julia- thank you- that is a wonderful compliment! I was hoping it would come close to the picture I see in my head :)

Ascension- thank you!!

De- thank you! I wish I worked as quickly as you do- I want to decorate it already!

Kibbygirl- thank you!!

Katie- thank you!! I was actually just being cheap- but sometimes I think that really pushes you to find solutions, right?

Claudia- thank you! You are so sweet to me ♥ I wish I had your sense of style when it comes to decorating time though :)

Doreen- thank you! ♥

Eileen and Chris- thank you also!!! ♥
