February Creativy Invitation and A Giveaway!!!

Each month June at has a Creativity Invitation.  For the month of February the theme was love.  Last month I made a book from instructions in the book "Making Handmade Books" by Alisa Golden.  I created another small journal from this book in the theme of love.  This technique is called "the secret belgian binding".  This journal is a lot smaller than the first one- measuring only about 3 x 5.  The pages form little pockets- you could stash recipts or notes in the little pockets and then there is the front and back of each pocket to write on.  I used all items I already had in my craft room for this book-so another bonus challenge of trying to use up what I already have was met too.

The second item I did for the invitation was a miniature.  Since I used to be a floral designer I decided to interpret love in miniature with a box of candy and a single red rose.  The little chocolates are glued down and not removable but the lid does fit snugly onto the bottom of the box.  I have HUGE respect and admiration for all the miniature food artists out there because this is not too realistic and it amazingly took me 3 days to make!
So, like last month- I would like to give these both away.  If you would like to be included in the giveaway all you have to do is tell me in the comments if you would like a chance for the book, for the miniature rose and candy or put your name in for both.  I can't wait to hear what March's invitation will be!

Opps!!!  Came back to edit- I will draw the winners on March 14 :)

thank you ladies!!! Patricia- of course you can put your name in for both- in fact...if people don't put a preference in the comments then I do just put their name in for both drawings :) I am having such fun with that book on making handmade books :) Can you believe it took me longer to make the minis than the book???!!!

PS- Patricia- I think my creative energy is coming back full force- now I can't seem to find enough hours in the day to make things!!

Oh my, these creations are wonderful. I am trying to journal, now, that my mother is gone. She and my grandmother kept journals and it has been so much fun (and sad) to read them. So far I'm up to when I'm almost 11 yrs. old in my grandmother's journals. I actually haven't started my mom's yet. Anyway, I have found a few things inside the pages of my grandmohter's journals. It would have been great if she had had yours with pockets!
I would love to be included in your journal giveaway. I love the miniature chocolates, but I would think one of your miniaturist blogging friends would be able to use it better than I could.

Fantastic! I love the journal so I would totally appreciate the opportunity to win, but I have to admit I'm also in awe of the skill it took to make the miniature. Well done!
