Flower Swap

I'm not being the best blogger lately- I'm behind on welcoming new followers and I think I forgot about some awards to pass on.  My apologies-I've been spending some time trying to find out information about Hashimoto's Disease so I will be better informed for my doctors appointment next month.  I did take some time out last weekend to finish up a flower swap I am doing with Wanda from http://sominiprojects.blogspot.com/ and I finally finished my part.  I love making miniature flowers.  I made some potted plants for Wanda as well as some loose lillies to use in whatever projects she would like.  Now I have to get busy on my swap items from the All Things Mini swap.  Those items are secret until everyone receives them, so nothing to share there yet.

Very pretty flowers,Kim!

I have Hashimoto's. I also had some other thyroid issues so had to have half of mine removed but as long as I take my thyroid hormone I stay pretty healthy.

Aw Kim your flowers are gorgeous. Do you make these yourself or from kits? I'd love to learn how to make these! You're very talented :)

Your flowers are beautiful, Kim.

I must have missed the post about Hashimoto's disease. Were you recently diagnosed with it? Take care, my friend.

Thank you for the compliments on the flowers ladies- I LOVE making them!

De- Did you switch to a gluten free diet? I'm so glad you said something because I see such conflicting information when I try to learn about it- some people say that medicine worked wonders and they feel better and some say they still struggle to feel better even after the medicine. I'm hoping since I didn't really start to feel really bad until the beginning of this year that mine will be able to be helped by medicine.

Sans- I will let everyone know for sure- I've received such support this year from blogging friends, so it will be nice if I have good news to share finally. My appointment isn't until Sept 28th :(

Shellby- The flowers are "copied" from a kit. I ordered some kits from hankypankycrafts.com and then I carefully cut out more petals and leaves to make more- she sells lots of flower punches too- which I used for the white daisies and the some of the leaves :)

Claudia- thank you for visiting! I was recently diagnosed, but I don't go see the endocrinologist until the end of september. I have my fingers crossed that it makes a world of difference in how I have been feeling.
